Lillian’s POV: His brows pinch together as he decreases the distance between us. I can pick up the scent of coffee from his breath as he chuckles. “Neal?” his lip curls upward into a more taunting smile. “It’s been a while since I’ve heard that name.” A growl caught my attention, and I snap my head back to see a dark shadow lurking towards us. He didn’t say anything instead glared at the man behind me. I can hear his bones cracking as if he was about to shift and attack. Instantly, I notice my errors - learned from the night at the club - and I back away from the male species in front of me. I had made too many eyes and physical contact with him. I cannot believe I even breathe in the same air as him. How could I betray Nick like this? I hide behind Nick, who hasn’t waiver
