The wolf collapsed in front of her with its head resting in her lap. She wasn’t sure what to do. She tried to say very still. When it started to whine, she instinctively stroked the fur on the top of its head, and it quieted down. She hoped it would be okay, but she knew that it was hurt badly. After a few minutes it appeared to lose consciousness. Then something extraordinary happened, something she couldn’t have ever imagined. The wolf started to change in appearance. Before she knew it, she had a grown man laying with his head on her lap. And he was naked! Her mind erupted with a million questions and impossible thoughts. She had to mentally shake herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. But how could this possibly be real? But it was real. The proof was in her lap. He started to stir, and she stiffened in response. He turned the upper part of him enough to look up into her face. She wasn’t sure what to expect. He started to speak in almost a whisper. She bent down closer to try to hear him. HE was asking her to help him get back home. She didn’t know where that was, but she agreed to help him. Afterall, he had helped her and paid for it by getting the knife driven into his chest.
She helped him to his feet while trying to not look at his guy parts. She was suddenly all too aware of his nakedness, but it didn’t seem to affect him at all. She tried to provide support by wrapping his arm around her shoulder and her arm around his waist …his incredibly muscly, yet naked waist. He motioned for her to stop after they walked a bit and he grabbed some clothes that were on the ground. He slipped the pants on and carried the rest. He told her that if she could get him to the creek, he could find his way from there. But she knew there was no way she was going to leave him. She was afraid that if she did, he would pass out and die somewhere. He was losing a lot of blood. She tried to get him to let her get help and get him to a hospital, but he refused. They made it to the creek, and she kept holding onto him and walking with him. She could tell that he was weak. He tried to get her to turn back but she didn’t, and she didn’t think that there was much he could do at that point to fight her in his present state. So, she kept going hoping that he would be able to tell her where to go once they got closer. But before that happened two guys came up to them and grabbed hold of him and started to take him from her. She protested and tried to explain that she wasn’t leaving him until she knew he would be alright. But they took him anyway. She followed behind even thought they told her not to. She refused to leave him. But then one of the guys turned towards her told her to turn back and forget everything that had happened, or she would wish she had. The threat along with the look in his eyes scared her but she still protested. One of them said something to the other and they kept moving. She wasn’t sure what was said but they no longer were trying to get rid of her. So, she kept following along. After walking for a few more minutes a big SUV pulled up into eh field that they were walking through. It stopped in front of them and loaded the injured man into the vehicle and the other two turned towards her and wasn’t sure what to do but she knew she needed to go with him to be sure he was going to be alright. To her surprise they allowed her to get into the vehicle. They drove in silence while she continued to hold pressure on the wound in his chest. After a few minutes they turned off the road and on to a dirt road. Once they got down it a way one of the men jumped out and opened a gate and then closed it again behind them. They continued to drive until they reached a big complex with several buildings, and several houses. There was one large house in the center that they stopped in front of. They all got out and once again grabbed the injured man and started to take him inside. She wasn’t sure if she should follow but she had already come that far and decided to go in. No one stopped her. They took him to a room that appeared to be a medical facility of some sort and placed him on what looked like an operating table. Another man entered the room and seemed to eye her suspiciously. She suddenly felt the need to explain herself. She told him that she had been walking in the woods and that a man had attacked her, and he had saved her. The man seemed to hear what she was saying to him but never responded. Instead he said something to one of the other men and they escorted her to another room. She asked if she could see him after he had been treated but once again, she wasn’t answered, and the man left the room and shut the door behind him. She sat down on the couch in the room and waited.
