Erika's Pov
Charles hugged our daughter tightly when he arrived. After that, he released his daughter and hugged me too. So tight that I almost couldn't breathe.
"Thank God, nothing bad happened to you and Rose. I don't know what I would do if something bad happened to the two of you," Charles said worriedly while still hugging me tightly.
"I know that you're worried about us, Charles. But can you let me go now? I can't breathe anymore." I lightly slapped his shoulder so he would let go of me. He hugged me so tight as if he was scared that I would disappear from his sight.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just too happy that nothing bad happened to you and Rose," apologized Charles, and he immediately let go of me.
"I'm very scared, Dad. Fortunately, Mommy is good at driving a car so we survived,"
