Erika's Pov
"Let go of me right now!" I said to Charles in a strong voice when I opened my eyes. I struggled like a fish trying to get away inside a net.
"Stop struggling, Mom. You and Daddy might fall down the stairs." I heard Rose's voice. I was worried that we might fall down the stairs so I stopped shaking. I waited for Charles to pass the stairs before I spoke again.
"We're not on the stairs anymore so put me down, Charles," I ordered him again. But Charles ignored me. "Didn't you hear me? I said put me down."
"I'm going to my room, Dad. Mom. Good night to both of you," Rose said after yawning, and then she walked to her room.
"You really don't intend to put me down?" I annoyingly asked Charles once again after our daughter left.
"I will put you down inside your room," he answer
