Erika's Pov
I felt like my world was falling apart for the second time. I felt again the intense pain in my chest that I first felt when I witnessed how Charles introduced another woman as the woman he would marry instead of me. My chest tightened at what I saw. Chona and Charles were sleeping together in bed while the latter's hand was wrapped around the woman's waist. And even though I can't see I could guess they don't have clothes under the blanket. If there was no blanket covering their bodies I would have seen their nakedness when I entered Charles' room.
Chona was the first to wake up when she felt my presence. Instead of being shy because of the scene I saw, the woman even smiled sweetly as if she was proud of me.
"Why are you here, Erika? You disturbed my sleep," Chona asked me
