Erika's Pov
I was shocked by what Charles said and I felt my face turn pale. Charles does not know that Rose is his daughter. I don't want him to take my child away from me. I will not agree with it.
"Yes and No, Mr. Evans. You are right, David is not my boyfriend and Rose's father. But you are wrong to think that she is your daughter. Rose is not your daughter. Do you think that I will not have a relationship with another man after you cheated on me?" I bravely met his eyes. If I don't do this he will think his suspicion is true because I avoid looking him in the eyes.
"Then, who is her father?" he weakly asked me again. It seems what I said was effective because his shoulders suddenly dropped. "Tell me who her father is."
