Kidnapping My Mate?!

679 Words
“Omg...kidnapped…” I murmured, eyes stinging with tears threatening to fall. FlashBack: After the celebration, me and a couple of other girls went to clean up after the party. Greyson went back to his office to work on some Alpha stuff. I felt a tremble in our link and I shrugged it off, he must be tired I thought. After the clean up I decided to buy Greyson a donut to cheer him up. I got to the donut shop and was about to order when I felt tremendous pain in my left shoulder and that’s when I knew something was wrong. I left the long line and ran to the pack house. But when I got there, the people sitting in the livingroom and the people in the kitchen all looked at me like I was crazy.  “What’s up Luna?” I waved my hand slightly and ran up to the tallest floor where Greyson’s office was located. Running up the stairs, I started panting from already running all the way here. We really should build an elevator, I muttered to myself. When I got to the office, the door was locked tight so I used all my strength and kicked the door into pieces. I looked at my arm and saw small cuts all around because of the glass on the door. I shook my hand and barged directly into the office.  I looked around carefully when I saw that Greyson wasn’t there, everyone came running up when they heard the glass breaking. They followed up behind me as I walked up to the desk and saw a note laying on the wooden surface.  Someone next to me picked it up and read it out loud: “Forget about your mate, he’s with me now. - Delita Roseli” I stood there shocked. People around me started whispering and talking to each other even though with my wolves sense I could still hear them.  “Poor girl.” “What will this mean for us?” “What happened to the alpha?” “What do we do now?” Luckily Kyle was there as well. He ushered everyone out of the room and told them to go to bed. I stood in the middle of the messy office, frozen and when Kyle lightly touched my shoulder, I flinched. “Leia, are you going to be fine?” Kyle asked gently. I shook my head, “I just need some time. Alone. For a couple of days.” “OK, I’ll take care of the pack while you’re gone.” Kyle patted me on the back and walked out the room.  I decided that I will go visit an old friend, Laura, she is a fortune telling witch that I saved from the vampires on one of my past quests and we have been friends ever since. I needed answers right away. I walked into my room and grabbed my bag, taking everything I needed with me, including the note that was on the desk, I carefully sealed it in a plastic ziplock bag. Just so that I don’t worry my pack, I left a note on my bed saying exactly where I would be going and telling them to not even try to follow me. When I looked at my wrist-watch, it was already around two in the morning. So I quietly tip-toed to the kitchen, grabbing as much food as I can get before sneaking out of the house. I shifted into my white Luna wolf that was standing proud and majestic and started heading north to the mountains. It took me around three days to get into the village that Laura was living in and asking about her whereabouts. Apparently, witches lived alone, even among their own kinds they are scattered around the world, and Laura was living in the right-smack-center of a forest that was filled constantly with fog (I’m guessing Laura’s magic powers but you never know for sure).  It took me two full hours to locate Laura’s cottage because well, my sense of direction just isn’t the greatest. So when I got there, it was already evening, I walked up the steps and politely knocked on the wooden door that just flung open with a wave of Laura’s hands.  “Hello dear customer…”
