The next day I started packing, getting everything I could get to survive. Laura had also given me a small silver dagger that she said was to be able to kill and purify any living being.
I shifted into my wolf and shook my fur. I started my way back to the pack first as I was thinking about the note.
From what Laura said, Delita Roseli was a really strong witch that once helped the vampires try to overthrow the wolves. However, she was stabbed and died during the war. From what I know, witches can contain part of their soul essence somewhere for safekeeping and revive in that way, everytime they revive, their magical powers decrease by twenty percent. I guess to defeat her, I still have to get stronger. Basic fighting skills definitely won’t do, I guess I’ll also try to master the powers Laura gave me.
I stopped a bit when I felt like someone was watching me through the forest, my senses weren’t the best but they were still one of the best in the pack. Probably just me being paranoid and not sleeping for a few days. I shook my fur and went around to find some water. Hey Phoebe, wanna get some rest. My wolf nodded her head and found a nice cozy place next to the pond to rest.
After a while, I woke up and instead of being underneath the shade of a tree near a pond, I was in a truck with a blanket. I jolted up and startled the guy who was on the wheels which made us bump a little.
“Who..who are you?” I screamed.
“Girl, you have got to calm down first.” He cursed, rubbing the bump on his forehead. He was rather very tall and had bumped his head on the roof of the car.
“Like I said..vampire..who are you and where are you taking me?” I glared at him, slowly showing my deadly aura and luna authority. I was already pissed not getting enough sleep these days and this guy was just getting on my nerves.
“Woah...ok fine I’ll tell you, my name is Andrean and reason for saving you...none, you just looked like you needed a ride.” He shrugged.
I looked wearily at him, there was definitely something odd about this guy, like how he knew who I was and my goal before I told him but I just kept silent.
I looked out the window and noticed the thick forest that was next to the track we were driving on. I noticed the familiar village that laid next to the forest our pack was in. I was about to say something when the car suddenly stopped, causing me to jolt and bump very hard onto the head cushion in front of me.
“God! What was that! How did you get your driver’s license.” I grumbled, rubbing at the bump on my head that now matched the one I gave him minutes ago.
“Obviously because of my handsome face,” He rolled his eyes, “Now milady, we have arrived at your destination. I could only get you this far because of the border lines ahead. Well, byebye!”
After I got off the truck, Andrean cheerfully waved and started the engine, the truck suddenly started emitting white smoke and PUFF, it disappeared. I stood there with my jaw open at what I’ve just witnessed until I heard a voice.
“Luna? Is that you?”
I turned around and fell on the grass with a thud seeing one of the kids from my pack. I smiled softly and patted his head.
“Hey Alec, how’ve you been doing kiddo?”
“Luna, we all missed you very much! I mean, Kyle is nice but he is wayyyy too strict.” He pouted. I chuckled and lifted him up.
“Well, let’s go say hi to everyone shall we?”
