CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
The next day Kyle returned from work. She had transferred all of her pending cases and officially quit law practice after her last case was won. She opened the door to the living room just to be surprised by her family.
"Surprise," Mateo, Leonardo, and Mrs. Elizabeth shouted in delight.
"Oh My God, you guys startled me," Kyle said, holding her chest dramatically.
"Congratulations mummy," Mateo said cheerfully, hugging Kyle.
"Congratulations honey," Leonardo said, pecking Kyle's cheek.
"Why the celebration?" Kyle asked.
