CHAPTER FORTY
Kyle reached home late in the evening, she was so tired and she couldn't wait to freshen up and rest. Kyle got inside and saw Leonardo and Mrs. Elizabeth discussing something. She sighed, she wanted to come clean to her husband and grandma so she decided to tell them about Alyana's case.
"You are back, how was your friend?" Leonardo asked standing up to move toward Kyle.
"Well, about that I have something to say. I want to come clean, you should hear it from me than hear it from someone else," Kyle said, dropping her bag on one of the chairs.
"What is it?" Leonardo asked worriedly, staring at Kyle.
"I lied, I didn't go to see a friend, I went to see Alyana and I have decided to take up her case," Kyle replied waiting to see their reaction.
