CHAPTER FORTY-NINE
Leonardo was asked to wait for the doctor in the waiting room, he was restless because he hadn't been told about his supposed wife's status. Leonardo was sitting tapping his legs anxiously.
"Mr. Smith," Doctor Karen called, pulling her mask from her face.
"Yes Doctor, how is my wife?" Leonardo asked quickly, standing up.
"Your wife sustained some pretty terrible burns, that is why she is barely recognizable. She sustained second-degree burns all over her face as well as her upper torso. We did some MRI examinations and we found out that she has fractures on her face as well as her body.
