Alyana's case was sent to the court by the magistrates. The plea and trial preparation hearing of Alyana's case was set a week later. Alyana was escorted to the court by the police, she told her lawyer to post bail but he told her he wasn't sure if it will be accepted due to the gravity of her case.
Alyana got to the court where she met Oliver and Camilla. She hugged them before she was told to move to her stand.
"Court rise," The court clerk yelled, making the jurors In the court stand as the judge proceeded to the bench.
When the judge was settled the jurors took their seats.
The court clerk read out the offenses Alyana was charged with.
"How do you plead, Mrs. Rodriguez?" The judge asked, looking at Alyana.
"Not guilty your honor," Alyana replied with conf
