CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-ONE.
Alyana had finished making breakfast when Mrs. Elizabeth walked into the kitchen with Mateo beside her with his hand clenched in hers.
"Good morning Mommy," Mateo greeted with a heartwarming smile, he pulled his hand from Mrs. Elizabeth's hold and ran to where Alyana stood. He hugged her knees, making her chuckle softly at his little gesture.
"Morning baby," Alyana replied, placing a warm kiss on his forehead before turning to greet Mrs. Elizabeth as she tried her best to look normal.
Mrs. Elizabeth replied to her and sat at the counter facing Alyana.
"What's for breakfast Mommy?" Mateo asked, looking at Alyana.
"Creamy shrimp pasta with sun-dried tomatoes," Alyana replied as she served some pasta into a big bowl.
