The sun was up high in the sky as Trey stepped out of his car and walked toward his restaurant on main street. The clear blue sky was like a mockery of the storm he felt hanging over his head, but it was still beautiful and warm. He pulled his ball cap lower on his forehead and adjusted his sunglasses. It wasn’t that he feared Chip Marvick would attack in broad daylight right in the center of a busy street, but he wasn’t about to walk around carefree until that i***t was taken care of.
