THERE ARE STILL MANY QUESTIONS

After lunch, both Lena and CJ are back in the Pack House And feel oddly at peace with everything they recently discovered even though there are still many questions they still need to be answered, and they’re not freaked out entirely by the current state of things.

CJ: So does that mean mom will be the new Moon Goddess or is she just a Luna now?

Lena: I honestly am not sure she maybe both. If I find my destined mate I will hold the same fate. But if I don't I can live a somewhat normal life.

CJ: Lena Do you really think we can live normal lives after finding out about our bloodline lineage? I know for a fact my life will never be normal again. I’m a be a werewolf but not just any werewolf I’m a be just like Lycaon Selene’s son. Whatever that means.

Lena: Your right I guess this is our new normal we have to learn to adapt and fast. Hopefully, when that Garrett guy comes he can tell us more about Selene’s son Lycaon Lykos.

CJ: Yeah hopefully he can fill in the blanks.

CJ and Lena find their mom and Liam in the living room sitting on the couch lost in each other’s thoughts CJ and Lena both clear their throats so they are noticed.

CJ: Ahem

Layla: Oh hey guys did you read the book already?

Lena: Yeah we still have a few questions though.

Layla: OK I’ll answer as much as I can and I’m sure Liam can answer the ones I can’t.

Alpha Liam: Yeah so ask away.

CJ and Lena both look at each other knowing which question they've wanted to ask since breakfast.

CJ: Ok first question is for mom 

Lena: Mom CJ and I want to know why are your eyes glowing blue when we both know your eyes are brown and, I know they are not contacts because you not the type to wear contacts.

Layla looks to Liam and he just nods his head as if to say they should know.

Layla: Well so originally this morning I was going to tell you that Liam and I are mates and now we are officially mated. And the reason my eyes are glowing blue is because the night of the banquet Liam…

Liam interrupts Layla

Alpha Liam: I marked her that night and umm well now uhh your mom and I are..

This time Layla interrupts Liam

Layla: I’m pregnant

CJ and Lena are genuinely shocked by the news but CJ gives Liam his best intimidating look

CJ: So when is the wedding? 

Lena: Wow I’m a be a big sister this is so awesome congrats mom and Liam.

Alpha Liam: Technically both your mother and I are married but we don't call it marriage.

Liam shows CJ and Lena the Mark that Layla gave him and Layla shows them hers.

Alpha Liam: We will have a mating ceremony to celebrate with the pack because we are bonded for life. The Mate Bond is stronger than any piece of paper stating your married. Once you find your mate you don't see anyone else, Your soulmate is your other half. Your mother is everything to me she makes me feel whole. One day you will find your mates and will understand.

CJ: OK so what does that make you to us? I don't think I’m comfortable calling you dad 

Alpha Liam: (laughing) You can just address me as Liam but only your mom, sister, and you can call me Liam everyone else here calls me Alpha.

CJ: (laughs) Ok I can work with that 

Lena: Yeah, me too. Now next question. So mom what are you? Like title wise are you Liam’s Luna or the new Moon Goddess and are you a werewolf too?

Layla: (laughing) Woah slow down, I guess I’m both I am or will be the new Moon Goddess and I am Liam’s Luna but as for werewolf I have no clue.

Alpha Liam: There is a possibility your mom will be able to shift it's still unknown because your mom can still do things no human can such as elongate her canines. And there was that time right before your mom kicked me and sent me flying into a tree, when her fingernails extended into claws and she dug them into her palms.

Lena: Wait I think I remember that day that was the day you came home with your blood on your hands but there were no scars.

Liam gives Layla a surprised look

Alpha Liam: You're a fast healer too? This is definitely interesting 

Layla: What do you mean what is interesting?

Alpha Liam: I just mean you have all the traits of a werewolf except you never shifted before.

Layla: Ok so?

Alpha Liam: Nothing I guess we will have to wait and see.
