Jake's POV I sat in the hard plastic seat in the hospital, my head buried in my hands. The smell of disinfectant, and old perfume lingering in the air. There were other people here too, but I tried not to stare. I don't even know how we got here. It all happened so fast I barely had time to think straight. One minute she was there, and the next...
