The doorbell rings as I am standing in the kitchen making tea for Tabitha and me. And I go to push the intercom, seeing Daniel stand there fidging slightly. “Daniel ! Hi”.
“Hi Maisie ... could I come in ? I have something very important to talk to you about”. He looks pleadingly at the camera, those puppy eyes burning through the grainy picture.
“Come on up”. I press the button and return to the tea after unlocking the door. I hope he is not here to try and talk us into forgiving Danny.
