THIRD PERSON POV
1895, Palais du Bellinor.
“Father!” A soft feminine voice hollered along the empty hallway of the castle to call for her father, the King of Demon.
King Brooke stand still with a proud smile and open arms.
“My princess, how are you?” King Brooke hugged his princess, who turned 18 years old yesterday.
Princess Caithlyn ran and hugged her father tightly, letting out a small squeal when their bodies collided.
“I missed you, father. Delano sucks at teaching…” She whispered the last few words.
King Brooke burst into laughter after hearing the name. He knew that it is the truth. The old man always had trouble in teaching but he is the best mentor based on his achievement and experience.
“I’ll find you a new mentor if that’s what you want..”
He patted her back while Princess Caithlyn keep her arms around his waist, her grip was tight, indicating she wasn’t going to break the hug anytime sooner.
“It is for your best, Princess Caithlyn.” Delano who is dressed in grey suit said with crossed arms, a small frown plastered on his sullen face.
Princess Caithlyn turned with a cheeky grin on her face.
“I still love you with all my heart, Delano.” She put a hand on her chest..
“But… Your teaching still sucks!-“
“This spoiled brat!” Delano growled loudly.
At that moment, he really attempted to throw a huge vase to her head.
“Ah!” Princess Caithlyn immediately dashed out of the room, her giggles echoes.
Princess Caithlyn was known as angel among the demon. She is beautiful and kind which is the opposite for the demon.
She is raised by his only father, King Brooke while her mother is just another temptress demon who never wanted anything to do with baby- Chan Neul..
Delano walked with large strides, angry that she is late for his class, again…
He found Princess Caithlyn on the balcony within few seconds.
She had been hanging out there recently without specific reason.
“What is Earth?” Princess Caithlyn questioned when she felt Delano’s presence who always made her shuddered. Her eyes twinkled in full curiosity when she asked the simple question.
“It is an demonic planet, Princess Caithlyn. You shall never go there.”
“Well then, we should go there! We are demons too, right?”
Delano sighed. “You don’t understand. That mankind world is cruel. They are much worse than us.”
“Hmm…” Her gaze shifted to the field of the wilted heliotrope flowers in front of the castle. Her mind clouded with several thoughts.
“Princess Caithlyn, let’s start our class now. You’re late and don’t think that I won’t give you any punishment. I’ll make sure you’ll cry and sorry for being late.” Delano told in serious tone.
“I want to stay here, Delano. It’s peaceful here.” She said, her face showed that she was in deep thoughts.
“I never understand why you choose this place out of other place…” He leaned against a red, slithering alike pillar.
“I like that flower..” She said with a small smile. “I like the meaning of the flower.”
“Heliotrope flower which means eternal love.” Delano stated in questioning tone, he eyebrows quirked in curiosity. “Why do you like the meaning?”
“I love the idea of eternal love and I believe in soulmates too.” Princess Caithlyn said in full enthusiasm.
“You sounds ridiculous, princess. Eternal love and soulmates never existed. It is a deceit that they made you believe into.”
“Demons never love anyone, not even their blood related.”

One day, Princess Caithlyn decided to visit the Earth. She couldn’t hold her curiousity about the Earth. She wanted to know more about the human life.
She first landed on a human village.
They all seemed happy despite the fact that they were poor.
She saw it with the way they were dressing.
She kept on walking until she reached a small cottage, a bit far from the rest of the other cottages.
She saw a guy around her age with his grandmother.
“Hui Fang, help me pick some apples under the tree.” His grandmother ordered.
“Okay, Ah Ma.” He walked out from the cottage immediately with a big pinkish basket.
'Hui Fang.. So his name is Hui Fang.' Princess Caithlyn though in her mind.
Her thoughts disappeared, replaced with her tiny giggles when Hui Fang accidentally hit his head on the trunk of the apple tree.
Everyday, she visited the Earth, just to peek over Hui Fang's life.
Everyday, her feelings grew over Hui Fang yet she couldn’t understand what she is feeling.
“Caithlyn? Where was you? You never came home late.” King Brooke told, there was underlying anger in his voice.
“I want to introduce you to someone but this isn’t the right time yet.” Princess Caithlyn smiled warmly.

The next day, she visited the small cottage like her usual routine. Delano lied to her, that’s all she was thinking.
Earth is a beautiful realm, it is full of life and colour unlike the demon realm.
One thing for sure is that Earth believe in the term of ‘hope’, a word that she could never found in demon realm.
She was giving a thought about living in Earth. She wanted to try to live as a human, not as a demon but she didn't have the heart to disappoint his father.
“Hi.” Hui Fang greeted when he caught glimpse of Princess Caithlyn behind an apple tree.
Her eyes widened in utter shock and her first reaction was to run away with her black dress but Hui Fang took hold of her hand before she did so.
“Wait!” He exclaimed. Princess Caithlyn turned, facing Hui Fang who flashed a cute smile to her, melting her heart in a second.
“Are you alone?” Hui Fang asked.
“Y-yes.” Princess Caithlyn stuttered. Her cheeks reddened as this was the first interaction she had with a human.
“It's getting dark, I'm afraid something will happen to you since the forest is kind of dangerous after the sunset.” He said, letting go of the princess's hand.
“My name is Hui Fang which literally mean virtuous. You can calls me Fang. How about you?” He asked.
“I-I'm Caithlyn.” The princess answered.
“Beautiful name.” He smiled which she returned with a demure smile.

After that night, they grew closer. She was much comfortable to show herself to Hui Fang and his grandmother every time she came to Earth.
After 36 months knowing each other, Baekhyun and Princess Caithlyn realized that both of them had fallen in love with each other.
As time passes, he finally built his courage to confess his love towards her which she accepted it with happy tears.
It took another month for Princess Caithlyn to tell the origin of her family to Hui Fang.
He was beyond the word scared, he was terrified when knowing about demon realm yet he realized that everything doesn’t matter as she is a gorgeous woman with a big, beautiful heart.
He didn't see her as the princess of the demons, but he saw her as her lover.

“Who is this, Caithlyn?” The King asked once Princess Caithlyn brought an uninvited guest to the palace.
“He is Hui Fang. He is the man I have told to you and the man that I love.” Princess Caithlyn said. She looked at him lovingly.
“Nice to meet you, King Brooke.” Hui Fang bowed his head, unsure of what to do.
“Are you stupid, Caithlyn?! He is a mortal. He is a human. You can't be with human. You need to be with someone like you.” The King said sternly.
“But father, we are the same. I want to be with him, father. Let me stay with him. Let me be a human like him.” Princess Caithlyn pleaded and it only added anger to King Brooke.
“I raised you for 21 years not to find a human to love. . .” King Brooke trailed off.
“And you want to become a human?! What a joke. Do you know how insane and ridiculous you sound?” He chuckled devilishly.
Princess Caithlyn frowned. She knew her father wouldn’t agree immediately yet his words struck to her heart.
“Dream on, sweetheart. You'll never become a human as long as I'm breathing and alive!” He shouted.
“And you human, don't you dare to disturb my princess again. Get out from my palace!" The King pointed to Hui Fang angrily and left the hall.
“I'll try my best to be with you. I promise. I'll find a way.” Hui Fang flashed a weak smile and gave a light squeeze on the princess's hands.
“Hui Fang, don't leave me. Don't go.” She cried.
“Trust me. Our love is eternity.” He wiped the princess's tears using his thumb.
“Our love is eternity.” The princess repeated Hui Fang’s words, earning a single nod from him.
With that, the Ruby guards, the demons’ royal guards dragged Hui Fang out of the palace.
She cried alone and silently in the room, her mind busy thinking of ways to be with him.
She fallen into depressed after years not seeing Hui Fang. She was locked inside the her room and she couldn't visit the Earth anymore.
A close cousin of Princess Caithlyn, Han met her and told her everything. He told her that Hui Fang was dead. He was brutally killed by King Brooke using a platinum knife.
“I'll be with Caithlyn in our next life and you can’t stop it because our love is eternity.” Hui Fang wheezed before he is pulled into a deep slumber where he can never wakes up from.
After Princess Caithlyn who listened to Han’s story, she immediately headed to his father's room, with teary eyes. She is upset and furious. She brought along the same platinum knife that killed Hui Fang and meet his father.
“What are you doing here?” The King asked without emotion.
“Why did you kill Hui Fang, father? You knew I loves him!” She blurted.
“What are you talking about?” The King asked, pretending innocent.
“Stop lying to me! I hate you father! All I wanted is to be with him!” The princess shouted.
“Why can’t you understand me?”
“You felt the same for mother too, right?”
His face expression hardened and darkened.
“I’ve never love your mother and so does she.”
“I never love anyone.“ He admitted.
She swung the platinum knife to herself.
Blood gushed out as her knees buckled to the floor.
“C-Caithlyn!” The King immediately caught Princess Caithlyn in his arms.
“Don’t you love me father?”
“Caithlyn…” He frowned.
She waited for his answer but he never intended to do.
“I knew it..” She wheezed with tears escaped freely as she remembered Delano’s words.
“Demons never love anyone, not even their blood related.”
“I-I” Blood gurgled in her throat.
“I'll be with Hui Fang in our next life and nothing can stop it because our love is eternity...”
