Everything went smoothly after the cockroach incident.
Tao didn't wake up for 3 days and Lay decided to slap his face. And it did works.
Tao was still traumatized as he quarantined his private room for awhile.
Chan Neul has turned back to her normal self. She realised what she had done to them was wrong and rude.
She even apologised to Chanyeol which Chanyeol accept it gladly with a tight hug.
Both Chan Neul and Baekhyun were in good terms. Chan Neul realised that nothing will change the fact that she is Baekhyun's mate so in the mean time, she accepted it and promise she'll not acts like a child and listened to Baekhyun well.
They were currently having dinner together and Chan Neul was eating silently beside D.O. Her appetite became better so she ate well lately.
"Eat more, Chan Neul." D.O said while stroking her hair.
Chan Neul smile brightly before shoving another spoonful of rice into her small mouth.
"Don't eat a lot.. You'll get fat.." Sehun scolded and Chan Neul pouted at the word 'fat'.
"Sehun! Look at her, I could see bones on her, let her eat more!" Luhan protested.
"Anything for Luhan hyung." Sehun said with a smile which made Chan Neul rolled her eyes.
‘Park Chan Neul, would you mind if I visit you tonight?’ King Brooke's voice echoed in her ears.
The spoon that Chan Neul hold fell to the plate with a clank sound. She froze and stayed silent as she listened to King Brooke's faint laugh.
"Chan Neul?" D.O asked as he tapped Chan Neul's shoulder gently. "Y-yes?" She stuttered as she brought back to senses.
"Are you okay? You're spacing out just now." Suho said.
"Did you heard that?" Chan Neul asked.
"Hear what?" Baekhyun asked. His tone became serious.
Chan Neul lowered her gaze as she is still confused with what she heard.
Was it real or her hallucination?
Baekhyun was about to says something but Suho's phone rings loudly, cutting him off.
Suho get up and went to living room to answers the call.
"Hello? Who is this?" Suho asked as he answered the call.
"This is your Leeteuk hyung." Leeteuk said flatly.
"Hyung, why did you call me?" Suho asked. His curiosity risen up as it's the first time Leeteuk, one of the leader in demon's castle called for him after a decade not contacting each other.
"I heard Baekhyun marked a human girl and now she's his mate." Leeteuk said and Suho knew he was mad.
"How did you know?" Suho asked in low tone.
"Of course I know, there are still a lot of other demons around you, who were watching every actions you made!" Leeteuk exclaimed.
"The whole palace was so shocked to accept the news. This was a terrible thing. Make sure Baekhyun end the relationship as soon as possible." Leeteuk said.
"How?" Suho asked even though he didn't even think to break Baekhyun and Chan Neul's mate bond.
"It's easy." Leeteuk said. "Kill her.."
Suho widened his eyes.
"N-no.." Suho exclaimed immediately.
"You know our demon world wouldn't accept a human girl as one of our demon mate." Leeteuk told.
"In the end, she'll trapped between two worlds and died or if she lucky enough, she'll become demon too." Leeteuk explained.
"B-but.. Hyung…" Suho stuttered as he tightened his grip on his phone upon hearing those words from Leeteuk.
He knew Leeteuk will always told the truth. Leeteuk will never tell any lie about rules in demon's world.
"Marked my words, Suho. Everything that happened to her next or unexpected visit from another demon, it's all your risk and responsibility." Leeteuk reminded.
"Anyway, I just want to warns you so you'll double up your security. Good luck, my favourite dongsaengs." He hung up the phone.
Suho rested his head on the wall while holding his phone tightly.
Suho went back to dining room after he calms himself.
His gaze meets Kris. Kris nodded in understanding as soon as he got the message from Suho through eye contact.
"Who is that?" Lay asked Suho.
"Leeteuk hyung." Suho replied and explained everything through mind-link.
"Chan Neul, sleep in my room tonight." Baekhyun muttered and Chan Neul choked on her rice as she coughed several times.
Lay soothe her back and soon she stop coughing.
"What are you talking about?" Chan Neul asked in shock. Her voice becomes raspy after choking over rice.
"Just tonight…" Baekhyun said.
"No no no no no!.." Chan Neul argued.
Baekhyun looked at D.O for help and D.O just shook his head which means they'll find another way to kept her safe.
Chan Neul went to her bedroom to sleep after the clock strikes 10 PM.
"Chan Neul…" Baekhyun called for her before she went into her room.
"Yes?" Chan Neul asked as she turned herself to face Baekhyun.
"Get into my room if something happened." Baekhyun said.
"Why are you talking as if you're expecting something bad happens to me tonight?" Chan Neul asked.
"It's not like that... I’m just worried." Baekhyun chuckled. "Good night Chan Neul." Baekhyun ruffled her hair messily before he went back to his own bedroom.
"Good night Baek…" Chan Neul said with a sigh and went inside her room, which is the room opposite to Baekhyun.

"Park Chan Neul, you'll die in Baekhyun's hands." A voice rang in Chan Neul's ears.
She could see nothing as everything was dark.
"I believe in Baekhyun." She said confidently as her voice echoed through the darkness.
"How could you believe in demon, Chan Neul? Demon lives in lies and betrayal…" The voice said again.
"And how could I believe you?" She asked bravely.
The lights suddenly turned on and she saw Baekhyun in front of her.
Baekhyun lips curled into a perfect smirk as he lifted his chin and met her gaze.
Suddenly, he went towards Chan Neul and choked her using his powerful, strong hands.
"B-baek.." She struggle to mutter a single word.
She hit his hand and tried to kick him but he tightened his grip and she gasped when she felt her breathing became unsteady.
She lost the tracks of her breath within seconds as he tightened the grip once again.
She is losing herself…
Chan Neul's eyes shot open and her whole body twitched in response.
It had been 7th time she get the same nightmare.
She glanced at the clock and noticed it's nearly 4 AM.
She was desperate to sleep right away because she's going back to school tomorrow.
She rummaged through her things at the toilet to find a bottle of sleeping pills in her drawer.
D.O will scold her if he know about this but right now, she needed it badly.
Chan Neul gulped two sleeping pills with a glass of water then went to sleep.
But after a half and an hour, her eyes shot open back.
She couldn't sleep because the nightmares kept haunting her.
She ended up gulping more sleeping pills.
And for the 20th time she wake up because of the same nightmares, she gulped another two sleeping pills.
She was so desperate to sleep. Chan Neul was so tired but she just couldn't sleep.
By the time it's already been the 25th pills that she took, it was already 6.45 AM.
Her exhausted body stop functioning as she collapsed on the cold floor and her vision blackened instantly.
The pills in the bottle that she hold scattered on the floor.
Before she completely lose conscious, she saw two male figure whom stand in front of her.
"Die because overdose sounds great, James." King Brooke smirked.
"You're so brilliant. Right now, we just need to take her with us and bring my daughter whom I had longing for years back." King Brooke added.
"Everything for you, King Brooke. I'm ready to serve for you." James, the loyal personal assistant replied.
"Just a few more minutes before she die and we'll take her with us.." James laughed with King Brooke.
