It’s been about four months since the birth of my pups, and I am now the Royal Beta. Rocky Bedford was stripped of his title and sent to prison for twenty years for kidnapping my daughter. I have been training the new Gamma, George Abbott, Kerry’s cousin, for two months. It’s a lot of work being the King’s Beta and training a new gamma, but I feel it is worth it.
Naomi is as protective of our pups as ever. She worked with Lars, the archive keeper, and can now work from our apartment while keeping an eye on Axel and Nova. There have been a handful of kidnapping attempts, and it is exhausting everyone. Naomi rarely leaves the apartment and now sleeps in their room. It has affected our relationship as we barely ever talk and get zero time alone.
