Lila I came home after school and headed straight into the kitchen. It was time to start dinner, so I pulled out the ground meat to prepare hamburgers. Mom had left a note on the package of ground beef with the words “burgers and fries” scrawled on it, so I assumed that was dinner’s plan for the night. I grabbed a bowl to mix in some chopped onion with the meat, just like my parents preferred.
