During class, I felt my phone vibrate. How the heck can Shawn text during class?
Maybe I’m a goody two shoes, but I’m not risking detention for Shawn. If I pull my phone out during class, I will get into trouble. Not only with this teacher, but my parents as well if I have to explain why I got detention.
Shawn isn’t worth that risk. The text needs to wait until after class.
Not that I can fault Shawn for sneaking in texting. Some of these classes do get boring. Sometimes, the teachers can literally put you asleep when they talk.
The bell rang, and everyone stood up to gather their stuff and get to the next class. I quickly pulled my phone out to see what Shawn texted.
