I’m watching Billy being stupid, which is normal. What surprises me is that he’s being stupid with Nina.
I guess he’s just substituting her for David—the one he usually does this stuff with.
Nina beats him, and Billy is not happy that a girl showed him up.
“I warned you,” Nina says, putting the can on the ground and smashing it with her foot.
“Hey, real men smash a can with their hands,” Billy retorts as he crushes the can between his hands.
“Good thing I’m not a man; I’d break a nail doing that,” Nina laughs, tossing Billy her flattened can.
I have Lila under my arm as we watch the antics. I glance down and catch a glimpse of her; she’s actually laughing at the spectacle.
