Ever since lunch, things have been weird. I don’t know if it’s because Michelle decided to make her appearance or if it’s because Lila is shutting down.
It’s like the atmosphere changed all of a sudden. I can feel the tension in the air, and for some reason, as I walk with David down to the football field for practice, it seems to be getting stronger.
“You okay?” I finally asked David.
“I’m fine,” David replied as we kept walking.
“So, am I the only one who feels tension in the air?” I asked.
“Yep, that’s definitely all you. Well, maybe Lila,” he said.
“Hmm.” I hummed out loud. He might be speaking the truth. Just going by what happened at lunch alone is proof that Lila is definitely a sensitive girl.
