I walked into school like usual, I looked and saw that Lila and Nina were already at their lockers. So instead of walking past them to mine, I decided to do something different.
I went up to Lila, and tapped her shoulder. she spun around, her eyes were wide with surprise. Nina just stood there watching me like a hawk.
“I better not get slapped again.” I heard Nina mutter under her breath.
“What are you doing?” Lila asked me. As she quickly looked to where my locker is and then back to me.
“I wanted to make sure you didn’t get into too much trouble last night.” I told her.
Lila swallowed and said, “It’s fine. Just a huge lecture.” She mumbled.
I don’t understand that. Why would Lila’s parents lecture her for doing something after school. I know her sister is always doing things
