I lost my appetite and got up from the table. All I kept seeing was the hurt look that was on Lila’s face.
“Hey, where are you going?” David called after me as I was leaving the table.
How do I explain to him that I got this accidental text from some girl and started texting her because I found her interesting. Then turns out the nerd we wanted to deceive ended up being the same girl?
So I just turned and shook my head at him. He lifted his chin in acknowledgement and went back to arguing with Dani.
I looked over towards where Lila was with Nina in the cafeteria. I could tell by the way Nina was waving her hands, she was pissed off.
I turned and left, I just wanted out of this cafeteria. I headed towards my locker because I had no idea where I should go before my next class.
