I tried to text Lila to make sure she was ok. But she wasn’t responding. I got concerned when I noticed she never came back into the cafeteria.
At the pep rally, it didn’t escape me that I couldn’t find her in the stands when I scanned them. I don’t know what exactly was said to her by Dani and Michelle, but it must have been enough that Lila disappeared for the rest of the day.
I’m still pissed at those two. It’s a good thing they too stayed away for the rest of the day. I would probably go off on them again.
Right now, I don’t have time to worry about Lila anymore. It’s game time, and I need to get into the zone and block everything out.
