While I was in my first class, I realized there were still no signs of Michelle. Something isn’t right. If she is here, then why isn’t her presence known?
When the teacher wasn’t looking, I carefully pulled my phone out to shoot David a text.
S:| Where is Michelle?
I slid the phone back into my pocket just before the teacher turned back to look at the class. I can’t shake the feeling that Michelle is planning something.
As soon as the bell rang to end the first period, I darted out of the room. David is in my next class, and I have an idea.
I hurried down the hall to get to the classroom when I spotted David strolling my way. He gave me a look.
I guess I do look crazy with how anxious I am. But I just can’t shake this weird feeling I have.
I waited by the door for him.
