Asher ended up following us to the office as well. I'm not sure why, but another set of eyes on Everly couldn't hurt. I didn't trust her mate and I knew they were having problems, but they were escalating. Lenny walked her to our parents' house where she was going to stay for now.
"What is going on?" Rhett asked. I really didn't know him that well yet, but he was the son of one of my mom's best friends and so far, everyone has had good things to say about him.
