Callen's POV
By the time we made it to the hospital, everyone was there, and she was ready to leave. She had bruises on her neck and face and a fractured wrist. Nothing her wolf couldn't heal in a couple of days, but it was something she should never have had to go through. Asher was sitting right beside her bed and I could see the look on his face. He just wanted everyone to leave them alone, but I don't how ready she was to have another mate, even if it was someone, she had known her entire life and could completely trust. He was going to have to be patient with her.
