NIRVANA did three things.
It found the strongest feeling inside a performance. It used light, sound, and camera movement to amplify that feeling. Then it measured whether the people watching had felt it.
The system was complicated.
The result was not.
Either the room changed, or it did not.
Ivy changed the room before the first phrase ended.
I watched from behind the observation line as she completed the opening turn.
The system identified her signal immediately.
Restraint under pressure.
The music narrowed around the sound of her breath. Broad white light warmed along her supporting side. A camera lowered by three degrees to hold the instant her balance threatened to leave and did not.
Nothing had been added that was not already present in her.
