“Your place is beautiful,” Sarah said, touching the plush cuddle-worthy green and red throw pillows. The smell of pine and citrus filled the air. “But in the last pictures you sent, your living room colors were cobalt blue, white, and magenta.” Veronica rolled her eyes as she brought in Sarah’s final bag. “That was so last season. It’s now fall and Christmas time, so I redecorated.” At Sarah’s pointed look, “Don’t worry, it didn’t cost me much. I only bought new covers for the couch and pillows.
