Sarah opened her eyes and groaned. Even though she’d slept through the night, her head felt like it was going to split into two. And her nose was all stuffy. All the traveling must have done her in. Because it was just plain wrong to get sick during Christmas time.
Sarah remembered her conversation with Veronica last night and she buried her face into her pillow. She’d misjudged Phillip and had treated him badly. She’d allowed her fear of someone like Sean getting close to her again override her objectivity. And she had hurt Phillip in the process. She’d been so sure he was not who he projected himself to be.
