After Wisdom, Beauden, Deshal, and Einar left Alpha Peyton, he and Mazi agreed that the pack shouldn't know her true identity, at least not yet. Peyton and she agreed that the pack needs to train harder to be prepared for Lucius. Mazi reminds him that no man can touch the box without turning violent with a woman. Mazi tells him she needs a little time to herself so she can think. The real reason is she wants to contact her father. She hadn't spoken to or seen Zeus since the day Larisa told them she didn't want Wisdom to know who she was until she was grown, or they didn't have a choice. Zeus was furious about Wisdom being robbed of her birthright. Larisa allowed him to name Wisdom, hoping that would calm him down. Zeus never appeared in front of Larisa or any of his family again.
