It has been two weeks since Wisdom left. Beauden decided not to call the trackers off. He knows what his father said about her returning after she’s worked out some things. But he can’t take the chance of her changing her mind. He contacted Kace to divide the trackers out and not stop looking for the Luna unless he gave the order.
“Damn it, Wissy, why in the hell are you still blocking me?” He yells, looking down the hall at Deshal on his cell phone and laughing. “That bold bastard is talking to my mate after I announced her Luna of the pack.” He rushes out of the room but stops when he hears a man's voice on the other end of the phone.
Deshal had it on speaker and was talking with Lonergan, his father. Then he heard Deshal saying he was stopping by Wisdom’s house to water her plants
