I shifted my weight from one leg to another, completely uncomfortable at the very thought of meeting him again. He had rattled me down to my very core just with our first meeting and it was quite obvious that we had crossed paths before when I was still a human which made it all the more complicated and messier and though my brain was thinking of dropping out of this mission, since this put me in a tight spot and my cover could be blown any second now, I didn’t want to go back to my master and let him know that I had failed him.
