I should be panicking, but I wasn't. Instead, I was annoyed. Out of all the wolves Gerald could use as his emergency contact, it had to be me. Could my day not get any worse?
When I got the call from one of the servants that Alpha had been shot, I wanted to give a big hug to whoever did it. They did great, but they told me that they didn't see anything, they just heard the sound of a gunshot and when they got there, Alpha Gerald was passed out, bleeding and Annabelle was upstairs taking a nap.
I doubt that she had anything to do with it. Was Gerald's nemesis finally catching up with him? Has the moon goddess decided to remember him for all the atrocities he had committed?
