"Princess Cassandra, you only have three months to survive. I have never encountered such an illness. The only thing I can give you are these herbals." The Doctor laid down a basket containing the herbs on the table where only three sat with the king.
"There are certain really special leaves and fruits that can help slow down the progression of cancer damage."
The king still could not believe that the death of his only child, Cassandra, was imminent. It was difficult for the queen to conceive so she had only one child and that was Cassandra. The king's heart seemed to grieve at what he heard.
The Princess touched the cloth wrapped in herbs and smiled.
"Thank you Doctor, I still have a lot to do in those months." she said with a smile and seemed to be so fine.
