Episode Six

Diana's POV

I felt his hand carry me; my mouth was too heavy for me to utter a word, my body was weak, and my eyes shut. I felt the spark again when he carried me. I could feel it when the nurse injected me, and I could hear his voice loudly when he was yelling at the nurse to make sure I lived.

It was strange, my eyes were still shut, but I could hear his voice loud enough. This is strange; I have never had anyone fight for me to live; everyone around me just wanted me dead and gone, but here is a man who wanted me to live. A stranger that I don't know what he looks like.

“You have to live for us, " was the last word he whispered into my ears before I eventually shut it all off. I didn't know how long I had been sleeping, but when I woke up, I felt better than what I felt earlier; my fever was gone, but a slight headache that I felt when I tried to stand up.

I checked out the window and saw it was dark. I knew I had to leave when I checked around and peeped into the room to see who my savior was, but he was not there; then I heard water splashing in the bathroom. I decided to use that to escape. I can't be seen in this room, it was one of the guest houses I cleaned with other maids, and if anyone saw me here, Amelia might decide to send me back into the dungeon. I can just beg her that I left the dungeon because I was ready to apologize to her and Kate.

I walked gently, without making a sound towards the door, but as I turned the key and the knob, I met Amelia and Lucas at the door. What!

I'm doomed. Amelia and Lucas, shocked, pushed me back into the room, “What are you doing here Diana, “ Amelia yelled.

For some seconds, all I could hear were rants from both Lucas and Amelia, “Have you come to steal from the Alpha king, “ Amelia said loudly.

My stomach dropped, steal? The Alpha King..?

I was confused. Did the Alpha King save me? I can't just put it together, different questions running through my mind, but I was brought back to reality when Amelia landed a hot slap on my cheeks, I fell to the sofa behind me, holding onto my cheeks.

Then he finally came out, “How dare you slap my guest, “ He yelled at Amelia angrily.

I gazed at the figure who came to rescue me, tall, handsome and he is definitely what people say about him, his scent alluring and his beards clean and shining. Lucas and Amelia were quiet; I was drooling over his handsomeness, and his aura filled the room. I felt the spark again but I was brought back when Lucas and Amelia suddenly shouted my name.

I felt embarrassed, but still confused why they had called me. I was lost when he was scolding them, so I didn't know the question or what had led to them calling.

“Yes.., I'm here, “I replied, stuttering.

“ This is Alpha King Damian; she is a lost woman who likes to seduce men; I believe she came into your room to seduce you, “Amelia said, and my jaw dropped.

“ What! “I exclaimed.

“ Seduced, when, and who, “I stated.

Damian, who had observed Amelia, “You must be the one who locked her up in the dungeon, and does your Alpha know you went against his father's order? “ Damian questioned Amelia.

Lucas, who was obviously in darkness, watched Amelia with his jaw dropped, “Damian, you can't lie about my Luna. Remember, this is my pack, and you're saying my Luna went against my late father's order that I won't take, “Lucas grinned.

Damian was raging from the inside, and I could tell, with the way his fist was tightened, that I knew it was about to go down between Damian and Lucas.

“Woman, you talk, did you lock her in the dungeon on your ceremony day or not? “ Damian asked angrily, facing Amelia with so much hatred.

Amelia began to shake, and her lip moved up and down but no words were coming out, “Noo…, “Amelia Stuturred.

And Damian loses it, “ How dare you say an Alpha King is lying, “Damian gnarled.

“ Amelia, I trust you; I know you didn't, even if you hate Diana; you know it's a rule, and you can't go against my late father's, “Lucas stated, gazing at Amelia, who was trembling.

“ She stole from me, and I locked her up; I just wanted to scare her, but I forgot to inform the guards to bring her back, “Amelia said, her voice shaking.

I was shocked; I won't let her lie against me ever again, “ I have never stolen from anyone before; you punished me because I refused to go on another errand for your friends, “I blurted.

Amelia faced Lucas, pleading, “ Lucas, she pushed me; you know I don't look for trouble; she was jealous of me, and she stole from me, “Amelia lied again.

I shook my head; this is the height of it, “ I never stole from you, but you stole everything from me, “I muttered.

I was pissed, and I can't just take it anymore. What went wrong between me and Amelia? Why does she hate me so much? She stole my man, and I let go, but now she is bluntly lying to me.

Lucas and Amelia solved their little misunderstanding, I looked at them with pity, how come he loves her, how come, how come… He didn't even call her names. Instead, he believed her lies.

The whole place became quiet to me, I was lost in my thoughts, what I must have done wrong for Lucas to have hated me so much, then Damian broke the silence with his words.

“She will go with her, she belongs to me now, “ Damian said calmly.

What!!! Amelia and Lucas exclaimed.

I was shocked; I belong to no one; I am not some commodity that anyone can acquire.

“I belong to no one, “ I said angrily.

Damian watched me coldly, his gaze stern on me, I could tell he was pissed, and he must hate it when people go against his words, but still, I stood my ground; I belonged to no one.

Damian’s lips curled into a slight smirk, though his gaze remained unreadable. “I Alpha Damian Blackwood of the Shadow Crest Pack.” His voice was smooth, yet carried an undeniable strength.

“And you, Diana Miller, are my second chance mate, “ He announced.

His words hit me like a thunderbolt, and I almost choked on my spit; my second chance, mate? My heart was pounding as I stared at him in shock.

I swallowed hard, trying to process everything, “Is this Why… Why did you save me? “I mumbled.

I couldn't process his words, then my wolf whispered to me, “I told you someone is coming to save us, and this is him, the one for you.”

His gaze and mine were locked until Amelia and Lucas' screams broke it.

“No, she is no one's Luna, and she stays in my pack, “ Lucas said angrily.
