Piper woke with a start. Sitting up on the sofa, wide-awake, she had her answer. Piper knew what Drew was trying to show her, but she had to be sure. Throwing the soft blanket away from her, she jumped to her feet and slipped on her high-heeled shoes. She grabbed the receipt and looked at it again, a smile slowly spreading crossed her face. "Thank you, Drew. I"ve got it now," she whispered out loud as if the dead man could somehow hear her. Coming to a quick decision, Piper wrote on the note for Tessa to find when she came over with the dogs later. Then she grabbed a sweater draped across the back of her chair and shrugged her shoulders into it. Hurrying from the gallery, she stopped only long enough to make sure the door was firmly locked behind her. She didn"t slow her pace as she ran
