~ALICE~
~ALICE~
“Oh f**k mhmm.” I pretend to moan from pleasure as he slams into me, hard from the back, my knees on the bed and my hands digging deep into the bed from his weight. As he continues to slam me hard from behind, my phone which lies on the table beside the bed beeps. I turn to the direction and while still remaining position, I reach for the phone.
“What the f**k Alice, can’t it wait?” He grumbles as he slows down his pace.
“Shut the f**k up and just f**k me.” I scowl at him while I unlock my phone. What the hell is wrong with him, what does my call have to do with him f*****g me? I'm not even enjoying s**t.
He keeps quiet and continue f*****g me while I check my phone. A smile appear on my face when I see who the text is from, and I quickly type a message with my elbows pressing on the bed. After typing, I drop the phone back and suddenly pull away from his d**k. I'm not feeling it and I can't hide it anymore. I've been pretending to moan from pleasure since we started f*****g, and I don't think I can do that anymore. This is the second time we're f*****g, and I thought that maybe it will get better but no, it just gets worse! He f***s too romantically. Ugh!
“What the…” He stares at me in disbelief. “Where are you going?” He asks with his hands apart.
I climb out of the bed in my nakedness and quickly pick up my dress from the chair and start putting them on. “My baby just called me.” Since I actually have no relationship with him anyway, he won't press on about the 'baby' phrase because I've only got one baby and that's Camille, not some man.
He arches his brows, “Is that why you are suddenly leaving in the middle of a good f**k?”
A good f**k? He's got to be kidding me. I turn to him and scoff, “A good f**k? Oh please, you can’t even f**k properly. Too slow, too romantic, too everything I hate. You were trying, but it wasn’t working for me.” I know that came out harshly, but it's the truth and I can be very blunt you know, especially when I'm pissed.
His eyes grow wide in shock. “I can’t believe you just said that.”
“I am sorry if I hurt your pride, Tristan but someone has got to tell you.” I shrug as I put on my shoes.
He scoffs, “So I was just fooling myself thinking I was giving you a good fuck.”
I sigh and move closer to him, “Don’t get me wrong, Tristan, you f**k well, but you don’t f**k me…” I emphasize on the ‘me’ “…well. My taste in men is um… is kinda…” Kinda different. I like my s*x, rough, quick without unnecessary foreplays and all of that. And Tristan, doesn't do any of that. He may f**k hard but not quick, and he just keeps fondling with my breasts, slowly playing with my clits and all of that sick slow... God! "Just, forget about it, Tristan."
“Well you can just direct me on how well I can f**k you, you don’t have to stop us in the middle of it, it’s not nice.”
“Direct you on how to f**k me? That would be time-wasting Tristan, and I don’t like to waste any time when it comes to things like this.”
Tristan gulps hard and runs his hands through his hair. “I… I thought we were kicking it off, Alice. It doesn’t have to be all about sex.” And here we go again. Another reason why I got tired of having s*x with him. He's a hopeless romantic. I already made it clear to him that I don't do feelings and relationships, but he just wouldn't stick to that. So, we have to call it off here.
I narrow my eyes pretending like I don't know what he's driving at. I pick up my bag. “If it’s not s*x then what is it about?”
“We were getting along really well. We could get to know more about each other and who knows…”
I shake my head abruptly. “I don’t do relationships and all that Tristan, you know that very well.” I reach for his face and kiss his cheeks. “It doesn’t matter if you cannot please me, you can please other girls.” I smile at him and start walking away.
I make my way out of Tristan’s apartment quickly and slide into my car before driving to the nearby bus stop where Camille is sitting down, waiting for me.

~CAMILLE~
I quickly stand up from the bench and enter into the car.
“Hi baby.” Alice smiles at me.
I smile as well, and then I sniff the air before narrowing my eyes, “Why do you smell like s*x, Alice?”
Alice laughs before she starts driving. “I’ll take a quick shower later, okay?”
My eyes grow wide, “You told me you were just going to have a drink with your friend, Alice! How did you end up having s*x?!” This friend of mine!
“Stop screaming Cam! It just happened and besides, it’s just sex.”
I shake her head, “It might not be just s*x for some of them, Alice. Have you forgotten what happened with Liam?”
Alice twitches her lips and sighs. “What happened with Liam is in the past and besides, I made it clear to him from the start that I am not into dating.”
“But you led him on. You hurt him, and he really liked you a lot. I actually thought you wanted to try out a relationship with him for the first time. You felt really guilty and sad about it, Alice. Please don't...”
“I know that, Cam.” She cut me off with a sigh. Her expression tightens, and I know she's feeling bad. Yeah, I hurt him, terribly, but it’s still not my fault. He knew clearly how I am.”
Even though hurting someone is not ideal, I do admire Alice sometimes and wish I can just see feelings and relationships to be nothing like she does. She doesn’t have to get hurt and dumped like me because she never gives her heart to men like I did. I know I've only given my heart to Max, but I had dated before him too and if that one had lasted, I would have fallen too. Well, that’s not me anymore, I am going to switch off relationships and feelings like Alice do. Yes, that's what I would do.
I shake my head, “So, what’s it with the guy you just had s*x with?”
Alice gives me a confused look, “You know more than anyone that there’s nothing more than s*x to me, Cam. And besides, we’re not even having s*x again. I found out he has feelings for me and I had to get him off me soon as possible.”
I place her hand over my forehead. “What in the world did you say to the poor guy?” I don’t want to guess what she has done, but I know Alice, she must have hurt the poor guy’s feelings with either her words or actions.
“That’s not important. So, what are you going to do about your school’s reunion, are you going?”
I sigh, “I don’t think so. What would I go and do there? Go there and smile at my ex-boyfriend and ex best friend that are obviously going to be there as married couples?”
Alice turns to me and squeezes her face in confusion, “So what if your ex-boyfriend and ex best friend would be there? Does that mean you can’t go too?”
“What’s so important about the reunion? It won’t change anything, even if I don’t go.” I shrug my shoulders.
“You don’t have to go if you don’t want to, Cam.” Alice says smiling at me. “Let them say whatever they want to. You don’t owe anyone an explanation.”
I heave a sigh and nod my head. She’s right; I don’t have to go if I don’t want to. It’s just a reunion where everyone gathers to show off their success and all that, nothing special.
Alice sighs, “Let me get gas for the car.” She says before driving into a gas station.
When the gas attendant walks over to us, I slip out of the car, heading for the small convenience store by the station. I’m halfway across when a black car speeds in, swerving so close it almost hits me. I jump back, lose my balance, and crash to the ground. Heat floods my cheeks. Perfect. Just perfect. An attendant rushes over, worry etched across his face, and helps me to my feet. I stand there, waiting—for an apology, for anything. Nothing. Not a damn word. Irritation spikes, and I march over to the car, rapping my knuckles against the tinted glass. No response.
Then the door swings open, smooth and deliberate. My eyes drop to polished Luiz Duitton shoes before trailing upward—slow, dreading—and then I freeze.
My heart stutters. My eyes almost pop out of their sockets.
Oh, f**k.
“You?”
He tilts his head, “Me?”
“Niklaus.” I say his name as I stare at him as if I’m seeing a ghost. Get a grip of yourself, Camille!
He tilts his head, brushing the strands of hair back, and my stomach knots. I gape at him—this perfectly made man I swore I’d never have to see again.
“Uh, do you know me?”
I blink in confusion. Wait, why is he pretending like he doesn’t know me? I gulp hard and squeeze my hands together.
“You should drive carefully, you almost ran me over.” I say instead. It’s much better if he doesn’t remember me. It will free me from any awkward situation.
“And who are you to tell me what to do?”
Excuse me? I turn to him dumbfounded, is he serious right now? I’m sure he meant to say 'I'm sorry', right?
“You should apologize to me.” I state clearly.
He dips his hands into his pockets. “You should apologize to me instead.” He says.
My brows knit in confusion. “I should apologize to you? You were the one who almost ran me over. I would be in an accident ward right now if I had not moved away. I wasn’t even standing in the way, you are not supposed to park here in the first place.”
"I can park wherever I want and even if I had run you over, I would still owe you no apology. I just need to make a few deposits at the hospital you would be transferred to and that's it."
Wait, what?! Is this the same man I met at Best Club the other night? Is he this rude and arrogant?
I turn to the attendant who has his head facing down and frown at him. “You saw what happened, right? He is clearly at fault, is he not?”
The attendant lifts his head up, and I can see sweats all over his face. Why does he look scared?
“I am sorry about this, Sir.” The attendant apologizes to him leaving me totally lost and dumbfounded. Shouldn’t he be apologizing to me?
He nods, “It’s okay, ladies like this aren’t worth my time at all.” He says to the attendant with a smile on his face. Ladies like me? I breathe out in annoyance and just before I open my mouth to speak, he moves closer to me and brings his lips to my ear.
“Who do you think you are to sneak out on me?”
My eyes grow wide, this motherfucker! He remembers.
