I saw the red smoke filling the forest floor like a mist. It was strange, almost like it was from a movie. I see the red light shining a ways away, but because this is so close to Hera’s pack, I don’t think anything of it. Could just be guards, or pack members roaming. So I continue to wait for Noah's call.
And that's when I heard the scream. The blood curdling scream of someone in agony. I took off as soon as I heard it. Someone was in trouble. And with each scream, the noise lessened. There is no way I am going to sit back and just let someone get hurt.
And just as I make it to the scene of the crime, I hear the words that freeze the blood in my veins. Causing me to stop in my tracks. The blood draining from my face, I can feel my stomach dropping as my breat
