Before he could finish rejection, Myra abruptly interrupted him, delivering a swift blow to his gut. "You bastard!" she exclaimed with a mix of anger and hurt, her voice laced with betrayal.
Myra's frustration grew as she looked at Aeron and realized her punch had barely affected him. Not even a hint of pain crossed his face. Determined to hurt him back, Myra swung her arm again, aiming to land a solid blow. She wanted to hurt him, to make him feel the sting she felt in that moment but Aeron effortlessly dodged her attack, a smug expression playing on his lips.
