Myra walked briskly through the dark, moonlit streets, hoping that the cool night air would clear her troubled mind. Frustration had been building up inside her, fueled by the relentless thoughts of alpha Aeron that plagued her every waking moment.
It had begun to take a toll on her emotions, causing her to lash out at those around her. Just that morning, she had yelled at Alistar's nanny in a fit of impatience when she arrived a mere five minutes late. Myra yearned for a respite from her own thoughts, desperately wishing that Aeron would simply leave her alone.
