Always The Obedient

Prologue

The sounds coming from my stilettos was the only one you can hear as soon as i enter my company.

"Goodmorning Madam" my employees uttered together.

I nodded my head "Morning" i said in a cold tone.

"Bawas bawasan mo naman ang pagiging yelo mo." Ashia my bestfriend.

"Hindi kapa na sanay?" pagtatanong ko dito. She just shrugged. Itong babaeng to talaga oh, iwan ko ba kong bat andito nanaman to. May sarili naman tong companya. Diko alam kong bat dito sya tumatambay.

"Ayy... Oo nga pala." she clapped her hands as she remembered something. " Sabay ba tayo uuwi nang Pilipinas?" I raised my brows.

"Uuwi?" kunot noo kong tanong.

" Girl don't tell me you don't know? You haven't read whats on our GC?" i just shrugged. "Ohh God" she said in disbelief.

" So...what nga. Bakit kailangan umuwi ako nang Pilipinas?" i asked confused.

"Kasi ikakasal na si Akira. At ikaw ang maid of honor." she said in

a exited tone.

"Ehh ikakasal lang naman pala si Akira eh." i said, not processing what she just said.

I stopped waking and my eyes widened as soon as i realized what she said.

"What?!?!" i shouted in shocked. Kaya napatingin ang lahat sa gawi namin. Their eyes also widened in shocked and i can see in their curious faces because of what i did.

She laughed and pulled me to my office. Buti nalang and malapit na kami sa opisina ko.

"Oo, ikaw kasi bat ba hindi ka nag babasa sa GC. Ayan tuloy shocked na shocked ka." patawa nyang saad.

"I'm busy okay?" i said in an annoyed tone.

"Sus palagi ka namang busy. Have fun girl wag ka mag papakasubsub sa trabaho" she said and rolled her eyes at me.

"So when was the wedding?" a asked shifting the topic. I walked over to my desk, sat down on my swivel chair and read some files.

"Next week" she replied and sat in one of my couch.

"Agad agad?" sabi ko sa hindi maka paniwalang tono. Nabitawan ko ang file na binabasa ko at hindi makapaniwalang tumingi sa kanya. Hindi panga ako naka recovery sa balitang nadinig ko tapos ito na naman.

"Eh yon gusto nila eh. Wala tayung magagawana don." she said. "Sabay na tayo na i book na kita, because i know busy ka nanaman." she said and tossed me the ticket details that she pulled from her bag.

"Bukas agad?" tanong ko habang naka kunot ang nuo.

"Oo, para makapag bakasyon pa tayo no" she said while typing in her phone.

"Hindi kaba busy?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Hindi, naka pag leave na ako eh" she said and smirked.

"Yesha, to my office now." i called my secretary for 5 years.

"Yes Madam" i heard her say before i turn of the intercom.

Bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa nito si Yesha.

"Yesha, clear my schedule for this week and next week." i said still typing on my computer.

She was shocked at my remark. Because being my secretary for 5 years this is the longest leave that i requested.

"Y-yes Madam" she said before she leave my office.

"Goodmorning lady's and gentleman, this is you're captain, Captain Alvarez

speaking. We welcome you to Manila. The local time is 8:30 PM and the temperature is 27°. On behalf of the entire crew, thank you for flying with Alvarez Air. See you on you're future flights. Mabuhay.

I didn't Imagine i'll be back to the place we're i called home. I guess this is it. Welcome back to Philippines.

"Halika na may susundo sa atin." exited na saad nya.

Kunot noo ko naman syang tiningnan.

"Sino?" tipid kong tanong.

"Ang best man daw nang Groom ni Akira." she smirked at her remark

Weird.

Tumango naman ako sa naging tugon nya.

"Hi." i heard a familiar baritone voice coming from my back.

"Gosh!!" Ashia squealed like a teenager.

Agad akong lumingon.
