Chapter 10  Kadens POV "I swear to god I did not know what was going to happen! Although really? On the floor?"  These were the first words that left Grahams mouth as I moved out of the room and closed the door. He was leaning against the wall across from our room, looking a mix between smug and scared.  "Have you heard of knocking by any chance? You know I've heard it's polite." Graham seemed taken aback by my tone considering it was quite soft. Raising an eyebrow he clocked how I was stood and seemed to try and read me. Using the mind link wouldn't work because I'd had that blocked since I walked into the room with Feyre.  "Okay okay, I get it, I'm rude. But seriously man, on the floor? You couldn't have at least had the decency to move to somewhere with cushioning? I mean you don't want her bruised now do you?" I moved towards him in an instant, not fully realising that Lucien had come out slightly. "The way I want to take my mate is of no concern to you, stay in your place Beta." Graham bowed his head slightly, reacting to the power coming from Luciens voice. I didn't mean for him to come out, but when he mentioned my mate being bruised it snapped. I was still on edge from not finishing what I started with Feyre and Graham was really starting to push me. "I meant no disrespect Alpha, I was coming to talk to you in regards to the pack. There have been some questions about her, and also about whether or not we will be moving to announce our pack still stands with the arrival of your Luna." I backed up, recovering myself just as the door to the room opened, Feyre walked out in nothing but a robe. Immediately I covered herself with my body, there was no way anyone was going to see my mate in a robe, she was mine.  "Easy big boy. I heard your conversation, I think it be best if you tell the pack that no decision has been made at the moment. Also, state that although your pack now has a Luna, no moves have been made to create our pack again. With the uncertainty regarding those out to get us and their location we are not moving forward." Feyre was so confident with her statement regarding our pack, it was pure bliss to listen to. With a nod of her head to Graham she dragged me back into our room. Once the door was closed she let go of my arm and went to the bed, dragging her knees up to rest her chin on them. I noticed the robe slightly slip from her legs, shaking my head I refused to think of that right now, I needed to focus on why her mood had changed. "Baby whats wrong?" "I don't know. I want this pack to be it's own, to stand on its own two feet in a sense. But with everything that has happened to both myself and the pack I don't know when that will be possible." She hugged her knees to her chest, I moved to sit next to her and wrapped my arms around her, pulling Feyres head into my chest. "I want us to be in a normal situation. Where we have no tragic backstory, nobody is trying to kill us, we can plan for pups, and I'm not the f*****g embodiment of the Moon Goddess!" I paused from tracing circles on her back, the fact that she wanted pups was amazing but what struck me was that she admitted about being the Moon Goddess. I moved one of my hands to under her chin and pulled her face towards me. "Baby, I love what your mind is thinking, that you truly want a future with me and with our pack. but we need to talk about you first. About what your future holds with being the Goddess, and also about why you didn't tell me sooner." She moved towards me in that instant and ended up straddling me, her arms around my shoulders with her head resting gently. I wrapped my arms around her and started to softly play with her hair, easing her into the conversation. Feyres POV He was patient, not forcing me into a conversation if I didn't want to have quite yet. I knew he wanted to know what was going on but it wasn't something I could easily talk about. "It wasn't something I knew, I was told about it when I shifted for the first time. Obviously it was unusual for someone to shift about 10 years early, but for me it didn't hurt. It was the most natural feeling of my life, like it was meant to happen.  My mother later explained that I was special, because of when I shifted and what I shifted into. The wolf, my wolf, I'd heard her from the moment I can remember. Sierra was beautiful, she showed me what we looked like when I was 2 or something, we were silver with purple eyes which wasn't exactly the norm for wolves. My sisters were blonde wolves with beautiful crystal blue eyes, so I was very easy to see compared to them." At this I let out a little chuckle which seemed to ease myself and Kaden. Moving slightly away from him, I positioned my head on his shoulder and continued with my explanation. "I was kept away from the pack after my shift, no one could know what I truly was so I learnt to hide myself, to change my appearance. That's why you saw me differently when you first met me, if anyone is looking for me that's how I will be described. The time we met in the meadow my pack was under attack from rogues, I only found this out a couple of moths after I ran away, Sierra showed me who it was and what they wanted. Finding out I was connected to the Moon Goddess was no easy thing, at least thats how I felt. But through the years of me running I figured out who I truly was, and what I was meant to become." I shifted again but this time I moved to stand in front of him, turning my eyes to his I let my wolf come to the surface. "I am Sierra, daughter of the Moon Goddess, her embodiment on this earth. I was sent here for a reason which I am still not clear on but there is more you need to know my mate. I am here to tell you as my human is finding it harder to say, what being connected to the Goddess truly means for us. We are not the Moon Goddess for starters, no one can truly be here, but they can have a connection to her. A lot of people with those connections will have slight traits regarding her, a slight change to eye colour, a silver streak in the hair, a specific birthmark. For me I'm not only connected to her but I am related to her." She moved us to sit next to Kaden, admitting my mother wasn't truly my mother was something I didn't have the guts to say out loud, so Sierra took the reigns and decided my mate should know everything. "Selene fell in love with a mortal many years ago, but not just any mortal he was the King, the Alpha King. Some people would've said this was what she had planned for herself, that she would mate with a strong wolf and create her offspring, but that wasn't it. This man had a mate but she did not love him, she abused him and used him for his status and power. Selene saw this and realised what would happen if this partnership continued so she did something she had sworn not to do throughout her being. She made a corporeal form and showed herself on the outskirts of their land, sending out her scent just for the King. He quickly arrived and upon looking at her he fell in love, more deeply than he had with his supposed mate, making him feel as if she had been lying this whole time. The King would continuously meet with Selene throughout the next few years, keeping it hidden from everyone in his kingdom, apart from his Beta. They kept the secret throughout his reign, even when his mate bore heirs their love never dwindled." She moved to face him, reaching out for his hand as an anchor. I felt those sparks between us and it soothed not only my self but also my wolf. Kaden moved his other hand to push our back, looking into our eyes with pure love being shown. It was enough encouragement for Sierra to continue.  "Eventually a threat began to arise, wolves had started to resent those in power, and those specific wolves were the rogues. Those without a pack to bind them and keep them sane, so they created their own. They had planned to rise up and kill the King and his kingdom, reaping havoc in every way possible under their feet. But the Beta family protected them, my family protected them." Looking up I noticed his eyes widen slightly at this, trying to figure out where I was going with this next. "As the rogues made their attack on neighbouring packs new information came to light, regarding who I truly was. My supposed farther, the Beta, finally told me the truth that I wasn't his. My true farther was the King, and my true mother was none other than Selene."
