Chapter 6

*Topanga's POV*

I stood there in shock. How did he know this? I made sure to mask our scents. "I... I... I don't know what you are talking about." I finally manage to say. "Don't play dumb with me. We were outside showing Jacks our wolves when..." I looked at him like he has grown five heads. "You what.... You SHOWED him your Wolf." I was beyond pissed. I didn't want Jacks to know that they were wolves yet because then that brings up his dad. 

"Yeah it was Chris' idea but that's not the point right now. The point is that when in wolf form we smelled Jacks and he smelt like witch and wolf. That means that he is a hybrid and I know you are not a wolf so you must be a witch." he says to me and I started to pace around the room. 

"Oh god he is going to find me. I cant let him find me. Not after I put in so much work keeping our identities a secret for so long. s**t I knew.." I got cut off by Cade grabbing my hands. "Calm down would ya. Who are you talking about?" I couldn't say anything the fear of him finding out where I am, he is going to try and take Jacks.

"Listen to me if you care for me the way you say you do then you have to promise if anything happens to me you have to protect Jacks from him." I say to him in a panic. "Listen Topanga nothing is going to happen to you I promise. But in order for me to protect you and him you have to tell me what is going on." He says trying to calm me down.

I sigh knowing that I have to tell them. "I guess if you have to know then.... I will have to tell you and Chris together." I say hoping that I do not come to regret this decision. We walk down stairs and Jacks runs up to me "Mommy.. mommy they have wolfies!" He says with so much excitement. "I know baby. Hey can you do mommy a big favor and go play with grandma Alice." He nods his head and runs to her. 

"What's the matter little one?" We are currently sitting in the twins office. I took my time to admire it. They have a black lather couch with matching chairs. The walls are covered in bookshelves. The have two big desk they were currently sitting at. "Listen there is something I should have told you guys earlier. I am a witch." 

They both sat with their mouths wide open. "I hide my scent because my ex the one I told you about Cade, is after me." That caused both of them to let out a loud growl. I rolled my eyes at them. "Anyways I have been running from him since I was in high school." I sighed walking over to the window.

I look down out of the window and I see the kids playing then I see Jacks laughing with a little girl. "My ex was very possessive over me, I honestly don't know why when he still had a mate somewhere." I look towards them "He was very complicated, anyways my powers started to grow as I got older, then I found him and he was amazing and sweet and I fell head over heels for him but,"

I look over to them and I see that they are clenching their fist trying to control their anger. "After a few months he started to change. He became aggressive and possessive it got really bad. Then I got pregnant," I look back out the window "I ran away from him, moving constantly to escape him." 

"I spent the first year of my sons life running from him." I looked back to the twins and I see their eyes soften. "Finally I found Kylie and she gave me a job and started working at the bar. I stopped worrying about him finding us but now that I have found my mates my spell is not working that is why you can smell our real scent." 

"Why didn't you tell us before?" Cade says looking upset. I sighed and moved over to where they are. "You guys have to understand that I didn't want anyone knowing what we truly were. No one has ever heard of a hybrid before, some will be scared finding this out. I realized over the years that I am powerful, I feel my powers growing." 

They both look nervous I can feel it in their aura, I chuckle at that. Two strong powerful alphas nervous over a little witch like myself. "Jackson's power is only going to grow. I feel it everyday, he is going to be more powerful than me." Chris stands up and walks to me "I may have not wanted a mate but you are amazing Topanga and I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are safe, that Jacks is safe I promise." 

I started to tear up at him saying that. They must have seen the tears starting because they both engulfed me in a hug. "Little one don't cry." Chris says. "Its not that Chris you didn't want me now you want to protect me." I started crying even more and Chris sits down and pulls me onto his lap. "Little one you need to understand I made a mistake saying I didn't want you okay. Can you ever forgive me." he said looking into my eyes.

"You were already forgiven." He looked at me with so much love in his eyes. His eyes moved from mine to my lips. He started rubbing my thighs and his hands moved from my thighs to my arms. It didn't take long before he grabbed the back of my neck and crushed his lips on to mine. The kiss was rough yet gentle at the same time. I pulled away gasping for air. "We better stop." I said getting up.

"Yeah.. umm.. sorry..." He stuttered. I look over to Cade who was just sitting there watching us. I walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Is there anything else we need to know and is there anything you can tell us about him?" Cade questioned. I thought for a second wondering if I should tell them about what Michael did to me and if I should even tell them his name. "No nothing." I said walking out of their office.

We went downstairs to get something to eat. Jacks came running up to me. "Mommy look what I made." He said while showing me a drawing. "That's you and that's me and that's Cade and Chris." I mentally awed at his drawing. He is really taking a liken to the twins and this pack. "It is wonderful baby." I say to him. "How about we put this on the fridge. What do you think big guy?" Chris said to him. Jacks nodded his head with so much excitement. 

We sat down and ate some lunch. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, but I couldn't help think maybe I should tell them about Michael. I was so lost in thought I didn't realize that Cade was talking to me. "Topanga." He says while waving his hand in my face. Finally I snapped out of my thoughts "I'm sorry what did you say." I look up to him. He sighs and says "Are you okay love because you kind of spaced out for a minute." He says I nodded my head saying I was fine.

"I said that we are having an alpha and his beta come to the pack house this week, they are flying in the day after tomorrow." Cade says to me and I nod my head. "Okay and why does that concern me?" I ask hoping I didn't sound rude. "It concerns you because you are our Luna and we are going to need you to be there while welcoming the alpha." He says and I couldn't help but smile. 

The next couple of days went by fast. Everyone is running around like a chicken with its head cut off getting ready for this alpha to come. "I am almost ready and if you guys keep rushing me I am going to take longer." I yell at the twins. Right now I am getting ready and they are being impatient because the alpha will be here in twenty minutes. I finally finish getting ready and I walk downstairs. 

I am sitting in the kitchen eating a snack when the twins came in "Come on Topanga he will be pulling up in just a few minutes." Chris says. I chuckle at him and pull him in for a kiss. Cade comes up behind me and starts kissing my neck. I am still not comfortable being intimate with them but a few kisses never hurt anyone. I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. We pull away from the kiss all breathing heavy when Max comes in to tell us that the alpha has arrived. 

We fix ourselves to make sure we look presentable. We start walking out of the house. I froze right when I got to the front door. He hasn't changed at all. His tall six foot two figure, bright blonde hair and his eyes are dark green. "Topanga?" He questions and all I could do was run back into the house. I grabbed Jacks and ran to my room. I locked the door and put a shield so he cant get in. Panic starts to rise in me.

"Mama what is wrong." When I didn't answer I can see in his eyes that he is scared. "Shush baby everything is gonna be find. Mama always figures it out." I say the last part more to myself. 

*Chris' POV*

"Topanga?" Alpha Michael says. I turn around and see that she looks terrified by him. She quickly runs in the house and Michael tried to follow. 

Key word: Tried

"How the hell do you know our mate?" I said with anger laced in my voice. He looks at me shocked. "She is not your mate." He says "I have loved her since we were in high school." Once he said that I felt so much anger. Both Cade and I let out a loud growl. "SHE IS OURS." You can feel the anger coming out of us. My mother quickly comes out trying to figure out what happened. 

"Alpha Michael it is nice..." Before she can finish her sentence Cade cut her off "It is not so nice given the fact that he said he has been in love with her since they were in high school." You can hear the anger and disgust in his voice. "Boys I have raised you better then that. Now tell what do you mean your in love with my sons mate?" She turned her death glare to Michael. 

"We were together in high school and I have been looking for her everywhere." He says and I can feel the heat raising in my veins. "Chris go check on our mate. I can tell you are about to shift." Cade says through mind-link. I nodded my head. 

I run upstairs to find my mate because I need to calm down. I knock on her door and I hear her whimpering. "Baby little one please open the door its just me." I say in a calm voice. I hear shuffling then the door unlock. I see her teary eyes and I pulled her into a hug and back into the room.

"Baby is he who you were talking about the one you are running from." I say to her and she nods her head. I see Jacks passed out on the bed and I pull her to sit down. I put my head in her neck and I inhale trying to calm down. "There is something I need to tell you and I don't want you to freak out." she says.

"Promise me you wont freak out and you have to keep Snow in check because what I am about to say will piss you off." She says and I start to get nervous. "I promise now tell me what is going on." She sighs and it takes a second. "I think I should tell you and Cade together." She says and this makes me panic even more. 

"Cade are you done with that jackass because our princess needs us. Both of us." I say to him in mind-link. He didn't say anything, and now I am worried about him and that dipshit. 

*Cade's POV*

Once Chris left I look over to this dumbass. "Now I will ask again what do you want with my mate." I say to him. He chuckles dryly and says "Look I'm not here to start a fight that's not what we came for but now that I know my love is here I want her. You see I haven't stopped looking for her for six years. I want her back." A low growl escapes my lips. "MINE" I can feel Ice trying to surface. 

My mothers hand come onto my shoulder to try and calm me down. "Cade I suggest you calm down before you do something you will regret" She says in a calm voice. "Look Alpha Michael I suggest you stay at a hotel and we can carry on this tomorrow." She was always the one to make everything alright. 

Once they got in their car Chris mind-linked me saying our princess needs us. I waited until they left our grounds and ran up to Topanga's room. I knocked on the door and Chris answered the door. I pulled Topanga into a hug and inheld her scent calming me and my wolf down. "So what's wrong?" I asked

"Listen I know I should have told you guys before but I couldn't find it in me to tell you the story." She said to us. We shifted in our seats, becoming uncomfortable. "I don't want Jacks knowing any of this you have to promise that you wont tell him and you wont flip out." We both nodded our heads.
