Nyx's POV
I got down with Kieran. It was scary because I could only imagine Caleb would try to get to me somehow. I growled, trying to suppress the fear that had already built up inside of me.
“Who are you, and why are you here?” Kieran asked, growling. Blue came to stand beside me, and Nicholas beside Kieran.
“Came to hasten up the work the master has sent you.” The lead wolf growled. “Go and kill Alpha Daniel!”
“Your threats to him are meaningless.”
So, I was right. Caleb did send them. Who knows if he's lurking somewhere, waiting for the perfect opportunity to grab me and escape.
“You do know that this fight is pointless, right?” I asked.
“The chances of us surviving are pretty low, but we will deliver the message the Alpha has sent us.” The wolf growled again.
