Nyx's POV
I saw rogues sneaking into the area as the council of Alphas were having a meeting. I could barely hear anything going on in the place, and since rogues can't feel whatever overwhelming action the normal one's are facing, I have to fight them back.
The air was filled with tension, and heavy with the promise of blood. I stood still as my muscles coiled, watching as the rogues slipped into the area.
They moved fast and their eyes were wild with hunger, and their bodies were ready to tear through anything in their way.
I have to protect the Windwalker pack, the pack that has always protected me. Kieran was fighting an harder battle in there, which I just hope I can help him with. Let me fight mine.
I walked outside, and I watched the rogues come at me with a very high speed.
