Nyx's POV
I stood up with just the cuffs in my hands, and I felt strong. There was just a thin kind between me, and escaping now. I walked to the windows, and the burglary proof was too strong for me to escape through.
I'd eventually have to go through the front door, and hot wire a car to get me as far away from here as possible. I looked at my wrist and it was a little bloodied. I hissed, and focused my energy on the door.
I crept closely to it, and just as I opened it, a wolf was passing by. He was the cuffs on my hands, and the blood on it.
“She wants to escape!” He screamed out loud that even the dead would have heard him. I was too slow as I snapped his neck only after he had shouted.
